One with Fatty liver disease, other with a massive infection from an internally broken egg.

Big Boy (meat chicken) May 2020-June or July 2020.- gave him away to some people bc TSC sold me meat birds instead of egg layers and he later died over there due to overeating and heat.

Red ( RIR) August 20th, 2020 to I think September 17th, 2020? idk someday in mid-September. she wasn't eating and moving as she used to I was on a break I went to go hand feed her, and she was dead in the brooder.

Easter ( EE) August 20th, 2020- September 21st, 2020. I was trying to get a meat hen to accept my new chicks so they were living in a dog crate with some wire around it and sadly a raccoon managed to kill her and get a piece of my meat hen comb luckily my other two RIR chicks survived and still are today.

I've lost many birds in my previous years of chicken keeping. Before joining BYC it was mostly predators. More recently, reproductive issues, and sadly my beautiful Smudge to an unknown disease. Still waiting for lab results.

Those things have gotten 5 of my chickens over the years! They are the worst.
