Well I just got the 4 spare cockerals I am not keeping out of the coop and caged up. I forgot why I hate going out at night. I am from Maine where the only things there that try to kill you is Moose and maybe a bear. Here in Texas we have Danger Noodles and 8 Legged freaks that grow to dang big. At night if you shine a light just right the ground lights up. Not with stars or anything cool, No it lights up the spider eyes. It looks like I am looking out into space via a telescope at stars there are so many eyes. So yeah here I am walking around avoiding the dang eyes I can see and yeh I am pretty sure some of the big eyes were tarantulas. Maybe a wolf spider that got big. Anyhow after I got the last cockeral locked up and am making sure everything is good some really big glowing spider eyes charged me so I ran back inside the fence, slammed the gate, and high tailed it inside where I am now enjoying a nice relaxing hot tea. Spiders should not charge a person ever! On a side note I have a massive Orb Weaver spider that chills on the patio every night named Charlotte. She is to big for me. When is summer over so they all go away?
