So once again in my awesome pj's out I go to get this girl off the road. She is now in chicken Jail and mad. I am seriously considering if my flock feels abandoned because I haven't been hanging out with them because I am sick. At least I live in a great town where people laugh about this stuff and love the antics of our animals. Last year a pig got loose and somehow became a town star as people followed his antics. We are having the first of winter flock reduction probably tomorrow. So they should stick closer to home after that and again when another reduction occurs.
Tiny my D'uccle Rooster became so mean. Attitude went 100% vicious his attack force was like 1%. Zero damage. I just remembered I have 3 pullets that are all his. 2 are just a bit bigger then he was but mixed with an EE and another is the same size as her mom a black sex link. Thankfully all 3 are girls and seem nice so far. I kinda miss the Jerk.D'Uccle males are very striking and it would be nice to have a cockerel that can't do serious damage with his tiny little legs!

Yeh I decided that those who annoy me to much or don't make the cut of what I want go in the pot. Unfortunately Daytona (My secret favorite and my kids nemesis) is our biggest trouble maker and may end up going into the pot before winter hits as part of our flock reduction because she just won't stop being a turd. She is now on a first name basis with ALL my neighbors and they love it but I hate that she won't behave like most everyone else and stay home on OUR property. She is leading everyone else into open rebellion and I have proof that she is at fault leading everyone off property.
