I let my chickens out to free range this morning. But all they did is sit and chill under the hazelnut tree. I saw them come out only twice to empty a yoghurt carton. But they stay away from the grass and other forage area’s.

It’s 3°C (between 30 and 40°F) but they act as if it’s 3°F.

And now a neighbour cat licks away whats left of the yoghurt.

Blondie without fail when I let them out to free range, runs to jump the fence then bee lines to my neighbors house. Why, I have no idea. After chasing and removing her back to her respective area not once BUT SIX TIMES decided I had enough and locked her into the run. I thought she learned her lesson, let her out again after hours and AGAIN. Neighbor got her dogs barking at me and all that. Like bro. Even the other heffers have been jumping the fence and causing me stress, but come back willingly with the temptation of grapes. Not Blondie. But I’m taking my revenge by smoking chicken wings outside their coop and blasting music, and yes I am drinking.
