How do all of you deal with future laws banning the ownership of chickens?

How do not worry or how do you not get stressed out about if someday in the future the local, state, or federal government bans us from having poultry as pets? This may seem a bit far out, but in today's world, there are some activists like PETA who are pushing for something like this.

That would be a tragedy. While I don't need to worry about that possibility since I'm zoned for agriculture, I would bribe the neighbors with free eggs to keep my flock secret.

That's like worrying that one day you might have cancer, might lose your job, might have a car accident. I see no benefit in worrying about nebulous what-ifs.

I don’t worry about it either, I’m too far out in the country. If I was ever in a situation where I wasn’t able to keep my flock, I’d probably try egg-bribery… and then cause a scene.
