How do chickens like bananas?

Oh yeahhhh...talk about chicken crack - raisins!!! Only one of my big girls likes banana - the others shake their beaks and back away like it's something toxic

Ditto others' comments about layer feed - hold off on that.

Nope, my 6wk old chicks won't TOUCH anything banana - so far have loved everything else given...but banana's - ewwww.....they just stomped on it and made a huge mess (eww).

Mine love overripe bananas. I mash them and mix them with cooked oatmeal. They go crazy over it, it's a great way to use up old bananas.

Mine also would do just about anything for raisins, raisins are their favorite thing in the whole wide world right now

Mine love anything remotely related to food. The gobble up everything I bring in there. I haven't tried raisins but I'm sure they would love them. They just about attack me whenever I come in the yard looking for treats.

Fed bananas to my flock the other day and had mixed reaction's. My rooster (Cooter) seemed to be the most enthused about them

My birds go crazy for bananas. They also love watermelon and cherries. They also seem to love sugar maple leaves. They have stripped every leaf they can jump up and reach.
