They take showers!!

They get the mister every day for about six hours because of the 100-106+ heat we have been having. They like it so much now that as soon as I turn it on they are under it!

That is my 21 week old Jersey Giant roo, Patrick.

How cute is that!?!

I don't think it has been hot enough for my girls to be close to the water, the run every time they see the hose.

mine run until they realized that they are cooler after they get wet and then they come back for more...everyday

Thank you. HE was supposed to be a SHE but McMurray mixed him in with my girls as an "extra". I'm not sorry!

I'm wondering just how big he's gonna get, though. His legs are huge!

If you dont mind me asking, where did you get the mister? I need to get something like that for my girls! All I have is a hose and they cant get to that until I get home at 4. But I would like something that I could put out all day while Im gone.

I have several misters. You can get them at just about any hardware store. They are pretty cheap and super easy to set up. I have mine hooked up to a sprinkler timer to go off every couple of hours.

It's just a nozzle sprayer with the adjustable end turned until it's almost off. I didn't have to buy anything.

Then I hang the nozzle onto the fence like a shower head.

I had one until he crowed, they are so sweet he snored and jumped into my lap

from what I have read they take 3 years to reach full size at 11 pounds or more
