How do I breed my RIR Roo?

I was wondering.....When I get ready to pick the roo and hen that I wanted to breed, what do I need to do ? Do I just put the two of them in a separate cage and let them do their thing and then try to hatch those eggs? Or is there another way I should be going about it?

Put them in their own pen and let them do their thing.

Edited to add that Silkie is correct is saying you need to pick out a number of hens to put in the pen with the roo. If you don't the one hen will be over mated.

Pick out a good number of hens, and your roo, and put them in the run and coop for at least a month before collecting eggs. Then you can hatch those knowing whos' the dad.
