How do i catch a Rooster?

I have a sort-of Aggressive Rooster, he's about 1 Year old. I try to Catch him, but he's too fast for me. I know a way how to catch a rooster, but it only works when they are roosting on something. So, can anyone tell me how to catch a rooster?

A net works pretty well. Even a fishing net in a pinch but I try and use an actual animal catch net. Sometimes you can get them with a leg catch "pole" but I've had a lot who'd slip their leg right out. You can make one out of stiff wire if you have any laying around or they sell them online. I usually just get them at night when they roost. Shine a flashlight in their eyes usually gives plenty of time to grab the legs before they react. Stick them in a cage if you're not ready to do what you need to do then you can use a towel to catch them in the cage later if they are aggressive. Usually it's pretty easy to catch a leg from a cage.

Wait til he roosts and simply grab him then.

I chased mine around with a snow shovel until I had him trapped in a corner lol

the Leg thing i know is their any other way you know How to Catch a Rooster. Without using a net?

Get him in a corner use a towel or blanket to throw over him and grab him before he can fly up or run away.
