Is there anyone in Southeastern Wisconsin who has an Australorpe that is about 1 yr old that they would be able to sell me? That is the breed I have decided might be best to integrate with Pixie.

That would be a good idea but I own a 2001 Chrysler M300 and my 90 Cadillac has issues and I have parked it until spring. I don't think it would fit in either of those. That is kinda why I bought a pressure washer. There is not a perch in the igloo. I learned after Tophat got froze to the top of the hut last year that they needed stuff to perch on. Nothing is real high but at least it is somethingYou can take the igloo to one of those wash your own car places. That's what I do to my cages in the winter (chicken spas). As for smelling no, but does she have a perch in there? She still might be afraid of something being IN there, even though it's not.

I know this was posted a long time ago, things happen and I had to deal with stuff other than being on internet. I did get 6 friends for Pixie but she would have not to do with them. I tried for a whole summer. I gave up and just kept her separated from them but she was still able to wander near their pen. Sadly Pixie passed away a year ago next month. I still have 2 of "her 6 friends".And get her a pen pal or two. Chickens don’t do well alone. They also need something to perch on.![]()
Thanks, I did that. I actually belong to that groupThanks! Just posted
