How do I clean out the incubator and set up the brooder.

Well Im getting some silkie chicks and eggs tomorrow and I need to know how to clean out the incubator. I dont want all the dead chick germs getting all over the new eggs. Also how do I set up the brooder for the chicks?

As far as the incubator I would say it depends on what type you have. A little bit of bleach/water mix in a spray bottle works great for me. I just spray it and wipe it out. As far as the brooder, that depends on how many chicks you have. I just use a plastic tub with a light and papertowels in the bottom plus feed and water of course.
