how do I encourage broodiness

Most of my breeds arent normally broody and every year one will go broody then give up in a week so How do I encourage them to be broody

Usually if I isolate one and have it in a pen alone and has a very dark sleeping area with lots of bedding -mine will begin to get broody. It helps that my pen is in a wooded area where there is not as much sunlight. Good luck.
