How do I get feathers out of a scab on my chicken?

I have a chicken I rescued and one of my dogs got a hold of her the second night it's been six days and there is feathers now stuck in the scab and I don't know how to get them out

Sorry to hear about the dog attack on your rescue. If it seems to be pulling on those feathers because they are stuck in the scab you could use some warm water to gently bathe it to try and soften the scab slightly so the feathers can be released. A pair of tweezers would be very handy to gently remove the feathers. Personally I wouldn't remove the scab as this is protecting the wound still.

Ok cool thanks! I'll try that out. Yeah I don't wanna remove the scab as there's no sign of infection.
