how do i get my older hens to get along with a new younger hen i bought

i bought a Easter egg-er hen and she has been living with my turkeys cause the other hens i have witch just started laying pick on her. is their anything i can do to get them to get along. or are they always going to pick on her cause she is not of the original hens?

I have put new chicken(s) in a wire dog crate with food and water in the coop and within a week - I can open the gate and they all seem to get along.

I just had good success with the "side-by-side" get familiar with each other routine I had a pen inside the coop so they could see each other, and I had a small pen/crate outside where they could see each other - I kept them separate for 2 weeks and by the end my lone girl was accepted by the other 4 just fine - it was a pain to catch her and move her twice a day - but she got real gentle cause I did lol and now I have a small blended flock of 5 - I woud try it - it certainly won't hurt

Chickens go through a pecking order at first too. They WILL be a little scrappy for a bit of time.
