how do i get my serama to lay on her eggs

    iv been collecting her eggs.{shes only had about 5}the first time she layed on it.but after the 2 or 3rd time of collecting her egg she wouldnt lay on it again...so will she ever want to lay on them again or no???[​IMG]

    You can't force a hen to go broody.

    If you want to hatch and your bird(s) is not ready to be broody you will need to use an incubator - you cannot make her broody. Since she is apparently a new layer, it is unlikely she is ready to be broody just yet - her staying on the first egg for a bit after laying was more about adjusting to what had just happened to her body. Some birds will rest for a while on the nest after they have laid, but that is not the same as being broody and staying there with the intent of hatching eggs.
