How do I get rid of flies?

If you make your own fly traps from recycled containers, you could of course re-use them or just put the cap on and toss them in the trash. Me, I would be in the bathroom throwing up emptying them so would put the saved cap on and in the trash they would go.

if you know of a good home made set up that doesn't stink, i'm all ears. the smell of the stink traps is so overwhelming that my neighbors have even complained.

This is the result of the milk jug fly test.
I think I want to try this with Chicken poop ! cecal poop I think would be best. That is the poop the flies are mostly on. I sat and watched to see

Actually I think I will try this in a 3 liter soda bottle with the top off and it slightly tilted. That way I can just screw the top on and throw it out

Stinky stuff is what flies like..so that's the kind of bait the works best.

You need an open hole on the side and the top capped, so the flies cannot escape.

Well it works for me and its cheap. But yeah, I don't go around it if I'm headed out to eat, lol. I used to use the old stinky ones that people have been saying they wanna vomit when they smell them and I couldn't take that smell...it was like gettin a big whiff of morning sickness every time I went by or got near. Don't have the same reaction to these. Of course I haven't tried the one he did with chicken....pretty sure I'd hurl on that smell....oops hold on...a little vomit just came up thinkin about it.

Dog poop.....its what he used in his video and then the other gallon container he put chicken in. On his results video the dog poop one had waaaaayyyyyy more flies. I've got dogs, I gotta pick up poop, so now I can "recycle" some of it, lol
