how do i get started raising chickens??

I am trying to get chickens soon, but i have had no background experience. can I please get some help?

Hi! So happy your thinking about chickens! I would recommend:
1. Research as much as you can!
2. Think about space (how much room you have, aka how many chickens you can house.) The general rule is 4 ft of coop space and 10+ ft of run space per chicken. The more the better
3. Think about where you will get your chickens, online, Craigslist or word of mouth, incubater, fed store, ect. (This might depend on #4
4. Pick your breeds & decide age, chicks, pullets, or adults
5. If you’re getting chicks, decide where your putting your brooder
6. Get supplies
7. Get your chickens!

Start by figuring out what your intentions are (eggs, meat, pets, Insta), how much room you have, what breeds work best for you, then research and build a coop and run. Ask lots of questions, the folks here we're fantastic helping me get (re)started with chickens!
