how do I go back to having all of the posts NOT read?

I hit the high lighted on the right upper corner...that said mark all of your post as read.
I thought that a box or something would come up and i could chose (I'm still trying to get around and see all of the great things BYC has to offer). Not that all of them would go light... i don't like that and would like to go back to the bold post, if i could, but can't find this option...can someone help?
