How do I increase my chicken's protein?

About a month ago my chickens looked the same way, bald butts. I started feeding Purina Flockraiser with free choice oyster shell and they are almost grown back in now. And for 7 chickens they get 4oz of scratch grain each morning scattered on their run floor.
