How do I keep geese out the duck food?

So how do I keep the canada geese from eating the food I put out for my mallards and wood ducks? I was thinking a roof over the feeding tray. Anybody have any idea what hieght might deter geese but still allow the mallards to get at it?

A small "house", like a dog house, with a door too small for the geese, but big enough for the ducks would probably be your best bet. If the geese can't walk under the roof you put up they will just lay down and stretch their neck under it. It'd have to be big and the food would have to be right in the center otherwise.
