How do I keep my chickens cool ?

Right now it is very hot and all my chickens are panting,How do i keep them cool ?

Do they have access to shade? Are they outside where there might be a breeze? Make sure they have plenty of water.

Frozen fruits or a shallow dish of ice water for them to wade in will help them along as well.

I keep a large fan on in my coop at all times, pointed towards the nesting boxes during the day and the roosts at night.

That's the reason I have Buff Minorcans- I live in the Chihuahun Desert, and that breed originated on a Mediterranean island where it reaches 130F ground temperature.
I would think that the breeds originated in England and the NE USA would not do so well in heat.
