How do I keep my duck clean?

Lol just last night Quackers kept trying to jump into the tub with me. He kept chirping, so I'd poke my head out & he'd stop. Then I'd hear banging against the tub. So I thought I'd be smart & lift up the fabric shower curtain so I can see what he was doing through the clear plastic liner. Little booger tilts his head, chirps, then walks off lol. I did use to have a cat who use to love taking a shower with me lol.

Quackers will be getting bathed with baby shampoo tomorrow. Aww my baby is going to really smell like a baby. :love

Hmm, just as long as it's not a daily thing, so he can keep his beautiful feathers nice and oiled! Although the idea of lavender scented duck is priceless XD

Oh no, not daily. Just when he's to sticky (meant stinky but sticky too lol). He has a horrible habit of pooping & laying right on top. The other day his entire underside was covered. Lol just as I was saying this I looked down & saw this.
400

I had to chase him around the house with toilet paper to wipe his booty.

Too bad there aren't more BYC folks following this thread…just too cute to miss…. love the lavender soap idea!

Let us know how he likes the new duck scent.

Hi folks,

Quick update, Daisy Doo has been bathed with baby shampoo and smells lovely. All fluffy and almost white again. Don't think she was too impressed to begin with but the biting from the duck was worth it to see her back to her former glory. Very happy duck and owner.

Maybe they're love bites?

Maybe Daisy Doo is trying to tell you she wants a different brand or scent next time?

I will try anything so long as the end result is a clean and nice smelling Duck. Trouble is she's out in the garden today and back up to her old tricks. Think she enjoys being dirty. Good job she likes her bath.
