Okay so im in utah and it can get to -10 here. Im worried about my duck because i only have one and its my first time going through winter with her! What do i do? What so i need? And are swedish ducks okay with cold weather. Whats the best thing to feed ducks in winter?? And my plan is to change the ducks water every day to keep it warm. Is that a good idea?

So, I live in Texas, and it gets pretty chilly, usually about 20's at worst. I had an indian runner outside, and I put an enclosed dog kennel in her pen with lots of hay in it for most winter days, on the worst days like ice storms, I covered it with a blanket and she did just fine. I did wait until she was fully grown to put her outside though.

My duck is about 5 months now is that a good age? I dont know it gets chilly here past sept 20th

Mine is 4 months now, and completely insulated. (Leaving proof all over the house Aye, my poor Dyson! LOL) As long as she doesn't have any of her baby down left, she should be fine.
