How do I keep my (one ) chicken warm in the NE weather?

I am new to this.. I have one chicken named CC how do I keep her warm when the cold weather sets in..I live in Rhode Island.. I have straw but I am afraid she'll be cold.. help..

Get her a couple of friends to cuddle with and keep warm.

I can't I live in a residental neighborhood.. I am only can have one chicken.. She is social.. with my lap.. with my black lab.. kitten and family.. she sits in the livingroom rocking chair. She is a family pet...but how do I keep her warm when the cold chill comes.

If she is a family pet do you keep her in the house? Or do you keep her outside? I know Rhode Island well, if you are keeping her outside another hen or two will make no difference even in a neighborhood. She can use some chicken buddies.

Well then keep her in a big rabbit hutch in the house with the rest of the family pets.If you are going to put her out you should at least get her a silkie hen. Who is even going to know if you have 2 really? if its not a rooster crowing, then nobody will even know.

She does have a hutch and a run outside for day and night time.. But she does come in for her family time..
Chicken diapers..I may be blonde . but do they really have them??

CC the chicken makes alot of talk at 5;30am having another may be to much for neighbors..
Can't a heat light or something like that work..

I think a silkie would make a good pal for her. I dont think they are too noisy. Not the ones i have seen anyway. They are also warm, soft and cuddly.
