How do I keep the ravens and Magpies from stealing eggs

Been wondering why we don't get many eggs then for the first time I saw a raven and 2 Magpies eating eggs outside my chicken tractor. They go right up in the tractor! We let the chickens out all day long so the door of it is of course open. They are free ranging all day and come back to the tractor when needed. Also our totally fenced in coop they go in there to because it's open all day to. I believe it's illegal to shoot them in Montana so what are my options. Anyone have any ideas?

Where is your rooster??? Fire him immediately! Wonder if you can do a peep door on your tractor and/or coop run ... might cut down on the problem

Don't have a rooster, have had a couple in the past but they just beat up the hens so that's why we don't have anymore. What do you mean about a peep door?

The small door on your coop is a peep door. Just big enough to let the chickens in and out. Maybe if you had a door that size on your run and on your tractor, the hens could get in to lay, but the crows might be more reluctant to enter ... just a thought, not sure it would work!
