How do I keep the unhatched eggs from being moved by the hatched chicks?

What end up? not to sound dumb

That's a legit question, you don't sound dumb.

bigger fatter end up .... pointy end down.

I lined my hatcher with the shelf liner described here. Then, I made little 1 1/2 inch diameter rings from pipe-cleaners, and set the eggs horizontally in these rings. The chicks hatch right there on the hatcher floor. The rings help keep the eggs in place while the new chicks are flopping around just after hatching. Not fail-proof, but definitely an improvement!
