Hi there,
So I’ve seen some “action” between 2 of my ducks and today there’s a nest type depression in the earth with 2 eggs in. Usually eggs are random around the coops and run. How do I know if to leave the eggs? I’d love some ducklings!!

If you want ducklings and the nest is a good/safe place, leave the eggs. Hopefully after your duck lays what she thinks is enough eggs, she will start sitting on them day and night. This kinda depends the duck though. Leaving the eggs may encourage broodiness, but some ducks may not go broody. My ducks almost always make a nest out of straw and lay their eggs in it whether they are broody or not. Just because you have a drake and just because your hen makes a nest does not necessarily mean you will end up with a broody duck that will hatch ducklings. Sorry, I don't know if that answers your question exactly.
