How Do I Know If The Chick Has Broken Into The Air Cell

Hi my question is how do i know if the 2 eggs left have broken into the air cell i am new to this i had tree eggs one hatched but during the night it passed away it looked like its insides were on its outsides. the eggs are on day 23 and at midnight it will be day 24. i candled them and i see the chick but can not tell if it is moving or not also i see very faint veins and at the big end of the egg i see the air cell with that area vill up with a baby chick when it gets ready to pip or will that be ther untill the chick first cracks the egg. I have a simple ufo looking incubator but went out and bought a hova bator and have 23 eggs in it. How long should i give the 2 eggs before giving up on them

day 25 incase you have some late bloomers. sometimes low temps might delay hatching. but by day 25 & nadda...............toss!

If mine are not out by the end of Day 21 or beginning of Day 22, I candle to see if they are in the air cell or even still alive. Almost none of the chicks hatched after Day 22 should have hatched due to some defect so I never let them go that long. Remember, they are continuing to grow all that time and probably won't make it out at Day 25, even if they are still alive.

how can you tell if they are in the air cell also we candled them we could see one little vein that looked like it was pusating hubby says it was s i believe him i have very bad eye sight

well i have decided to call it quits i will open the up and see what went wrong keeping fingers crossed that the 23 in my new hova bator atleast some will hatch i knew that with the incubator the 3 eggs were in that there was a high chance of not hatching what you expect when there is a night light bulf and tin foil in a ufo looking incubator

well now i know why they did not hatch they stoped forming at arounf the 16th to 17th day the last day i candled them

ty i have 23 was 24 due on the 3rd all are developing and moving my thing is majority look to be on schedule but about 4 look like they are forming slower and look like they are on day 5 or 6 but they are alive and moving does this mean that they will hatch later the two we just opened up one was half chick and half liquid the other one was more formed with some liquid and some black liquid
