How do I know she took them

So my broody was unsuccessful I think, it's been 24 days and nothing so we gave her 4 chicks born today and it wasn't super easy but they are under her... How do I know if she REALLY took them??

You will have to keep an eye on her and the chicks for awhile. A good way to see if she's accepted them and wants to raise them is by putting some food down in front of her. If she calls the chicks and shows them the food, all is good. You may need to do this more than once though. Good luck!
