I ordered a brown egg layers assortment from McMurry Hatchery. They say that I will have at least 5 different ones of a list that they give. I have tried to look them all up, but some are so similar. Is there any really good sites that shows pictures of chicks and adults? How can I tell for sure what I have, and when?

So far I have some cute little yellow fluffy ones, several brown fluffy ones, and a couple of black with with spots fluffy ones. [IMG]

McMurray's catalog has some decent illustrations of chicks. They may have the illustrations in their online catalog I believe.

    You can go to feathersite.com

They have lots and lots of pics of most breeds.

The best way to find out is, get a camera, take pics and post them here so everyone can guess.

Try it, it's half the fun.
