How do i make a 5gal bucket mouse trap ??

I discovered mouse dropings around the chick hutch and even found SIX mice under a some un-used nest boxes. I cannot get any traps for a few days but i have a five gal bucket and i heard that you can make a trap out of one and it drowns them. How do i make a trap like that ?? Thanks in advance !!!

Fill a 5 gallon bucket half full with water. Cover the water surface with black oil sunflower seeds (so it looks like a bucket full-o-seeds). Provide the mice with an access ramp. They jump in and can't get out. Don't be surprised if you find some swimmers, just leave them be- they'll tire out eventually. You'll want to set the trap after the chickens have gone to roost for the night, and remove it before you let them out in the morning. Chickens like sunflower seeds too, and they aren't known for being the best swimmers. Good luck!
