How do I make an outside brooder in SouthEast Idaho

My down fall...I am a perfectionist!

I know this should be an easy project to get done with the tidbits that I have around the house....but it won't be perfect and that is driving me CRAZY!!

ok... totally perfection aside, as you can see...the lid is way OFF...

But it is made...today left the lid down and went to town got back and the birds were panting...NOT GOOD!
Moved the brooder to the spot it is in now and they are doing much better now...

is it normal for girl chicks to fight?
