How do i make my Hen go broody?

can i make influence her hormone to broodnies?
Ask yourself this: can you make yourself (if you are female) ovulate? Can you influence your girl friends to have their menstrual cycles on a particular day of the month? Can you influence yourself or any of your girl friends to want to have babies? The answer is absolutely not. The same is true of your chickens. Chickens produce eggs, that is the act of ovulating, and it has to do with hormones, or chemicals in their bodies. Some chickens also have hormones that make them decide they want to sit on the eggs and hatch them. Broody hormones. Lots of chickens don't have those hormones, they just want to keep producing eggs. Lots and lots and lots of eggs. Some breeds that like to set on eggs are Orpingtons and silkies. I'm sure there are more. But if you do not have a broody hen, there is not much you can do about it. Except buy an incubator and learn how to use it!

Maybe it's just an old wives tale but I have heard that feeding them lot's of corn helps in making them be broody. Could be worth a shot.
No. That is horrible for them nutritionally. It would be like a fertility doctor telling a patient to eat a bunch of candy because it might help her to conceive.

I love this example. I couldn't think of one and this hits the nail on the head

searhc it up on google and i 2 of my new hmapsire red have gone broody and they were my favirote moms so unless you dont have a new hampsire red chicken i would not make any asumption because i know my grammers is horrible and my spelling is bad but i dont care
I never said anything about your grammar or spelling.

NHR's are not a breed that is prone to go broody. I know that for a fact. Does that mean that they can't? Absolutely not. I've seen broody Leghorns. Is it likely though? No.

Bottom line is that you cannot make a hen broody. She decides that on her own.

But the things I know people are still gonna be my conclusion BUT NHR DO GO BROODY I have seen it it with my own eyes 2 of my NHR gone broody
NHR can go broody, all breeds can.

I don't doubt that your bird may have been the best mother. You can find odd ones out in any breed.

Unfortunately broodiness has been bred out of a lot of modern breeds, including NHR. So they aren't really a broody breed, but that doesn't mean they can't go broody.

You're so lucky you managed to find such a good mama. 😊

Unfortunately there is no way to force a hen to go broody, you just have to hope she will make the decision on her own.

Best of luck!
