How do I make new runner ducks follow me?

I can now bring them in by just opening the door and they will come out of the pond and go into the greenhouse to get their bowl of wheat. But it only works in the evening. So, patience and consistency is really all it takes.

However, I have to chase them out of the greenhouse every morning. I don't know how to make them get out without any food and I don't want to feed them in the morning as they are supposed to forage until the evening.

Why can’t you feed them other than evening? With it getting on to winter foraging is going to be at a minimum and Runners being so slim and having high metabolism need nourishment. And if still young even more. Glad your now getting them inside though. Good job.
