How do I make word links in my signature?

Hi,
I feel like my signature's taken up with links.
but I'm not even sure how to post a word link in the forums let alone in my signature, can someone please let me know?
Also how do I make my singnature text a different color I already know how to make normal text different colors but does is apply with signature the same way?
