How do i raise the humidity?

I THINK that it usually takes a hygrometer much longer to give an accurate reading than it does a thermometer. Maybe you're getting the improvement but it hasn't "registered" yet.

ALSO, the "ambient" humidity in the room will certainly have a significant effect, I think.
