How do I replace my hens with chicks?

I use a product called Dettol.
Its an pine oil antiseptic let sit till dry and use area.

Never had any issues put chicks in the following day!

A 1:32 ratio of bleach:water will sanitize just fine. This is the recommended ratio for sanitizing counters, cages, etc in the vet clinic and there aren't many "bugs" out there that it won't kill.

Thanks so much for the responses! I've learned a lot and have a few options. Should I be concerned with handling my hens, then touching my chicks?
