My finace and I spend yesterday wrapping our new chicken run in hardware cloth (which we also skirted and buried 1+ feet underground. We have a little more work to do around the coop and the door,

as we ran out of hardware cloth. My biggest concern now is how to keep predators away from the door to the coop. How do I fill-in the gaps around the edge of the door so predators don't squeeze through? The picture is the run we purchased. Thank you in advance for suggestions!

Bungee cords.
I’m just kidding, that’s what I do. 😂
You could use a lock and a small chain if you have it..

Have excess overhang on both the gate and the fence so when the gate closes, the 2 layers of hardware cloth overlap, like so. Keep in mind what direction you want the gate to swing in as once you do this, if the gate normally swings both ways, it will only swing in one direction.
