How do I stop my blind hen from banging her head against the cage bars?

Could you take a picture of her cage setup please?

Does she have no where to roost? I think if you moved the water and food to the side of the cage she can hop out easier (if that's what you're wanting her to do).
I move the food once its nearly 4pm. She hops up and perches on the steel bars on top. (If she doesn't hit her head that is)

Does she have to be in a cage that short? Or even a cage at all?
I don't know what your setup is like or anything but if you had a chicken coop where you could even portion off a part of it for her she wouldn't be able to bang her head due to ceiling height.
We do have a big empty chicken coop outside but I have no idea how she'd manage by herself in that empty space. Blind hen? Besides, there are many cats in my neighborhood and I worry too much about her to let her be by herself.

Also she hates going outside and pants/fainted once too when i take her outside(I live in a desert)
She even pants inside! Only when I put the fan on does she relax lol.

I'll search for a bigger cage at this point.

I have a blind hen. She's been blind since birth and is now 3 yrs old. She has lived in the coop since I move them out at 6 weeks. She gets by fine. Just have to keep the food and water in the same place. She also free ranges but I have an awesome batch of older girls who makes sure she always has a buddy and go running to her if she gets "lost".
