A few weeks ago I got some Bobwhite quail eggs and they should hatch next week Before they hatch I want to know how to tame them properly because I know they can be harder to tame.

Note: If you're wondering what happened to the coturnix quails I had on my other post well they weren't actually mine they were my cousins the reason I had them was because my cousin incubator broke down so they gave me the eggs to incubator in my incubator the coturnix quails are now in my cousin care.

They are game birds and as such, are not meant to be tamed....they have not been domesticated like chickens or parrots.
If you are adamant about 'taming' them, you will have to be around them handling them 24/7, it's a huge commitment!

Bobwhites aren't going to tame easily. You will need to handle them every single day for hours, and even then they may not become tame. They are game birds.
They have an instinct that is hard to pass. Spend lots of time with them and always show respect.

No. But I'm currently taking a quail husbandry raising course in person and I have a quail sitting in my lap because I was patient and respected its instinct.
