How do I tell Jesry Gaints from Orpingtons from Australorps.

I bought some Jersy Gaints and Blue Orpingtons last spring and I don't think my gaint is a gaint the bottom of his feet are not bright yellow. Last fall I bought some orpington (from a different breeder)and the 1 hen turned out to be a rooster and he stands taller than my JG and BO, his head is up past my knee and I'm 5'10", he's not a year old yet.
