hi, i'd like to introduce you to my new Pekin drake (yet to be named)...
my little champion - no seriously, i entered him in the Junior Exhibitors class at a show today, and i came out with first, champion, and a junior exhibitors encouragement award!!
i'd like to know how old he is - i'm interested to see how old he is. i recently brought him as a fully grown adult from my school (they have NO idea about his age), and i know he's been there for a while (i KNOW at least this year because i entered him in another show earlier this year with a highly commeneded), but i have a feeling he was there last year as well...
the only features that really stand out to me are his VERY deep orange legs...
if anyone has any ideas, that wouls be great!
i can take more photos and upload them if anyone needs more specific photos...
i'd really like to know whether he's old or young, just so i know whether i made a good idea on buying him... he has SOOO much character in him, and i just love him so!
also, does anyone know how old Pekins live to be (if well feeded, watered, wormed, de-liced, etc)...
