How deep do you have those. That is at the front, how much space from the top of the outside board to the bottom of the nest. I would try to have at least 4 inches to hold in the straw. I sure do like those though. Really, really looks sharp, and functional.

They are going to LOVE them! Just remember to put a fake egg in every nest NOW to get them used to seeing it there and remember that even though you have enough nests for all your hens......They will ALL pick 1 or 2 nests they ALL want to lay in at the same time! LOL! Silly chickens! I am jealous because they look so good!
