I am happy to say that I candled the twin egg today again but this time I put it on a base so it would not move and and held the light a little farther away from the shell and what I seen was amazing!!
There was so many veins and I seen both babies moving! Before I was holding the light right up against the shell and it was bleaching out even the veins. so Im sure it did the same for one of the twins!! Also the twins HAVE moved closer together!! so they arent on opposite ends of the egg anymore!! I am so excited!! only another week or so until lockdown!! I am making a homemade incubator just for them so when the twin egg goes into lockdown, turning my Serama eggs will not be a problem (Twin egg goes into Lockdown September 30th.. Seramas go into lockdown on October 2nd)
I have decided that the way I will go about hatching them is, I will not touch the egg for the first full day of lockdown just so the chicks know to get ready.. by the next day I will check the egg throughout the day to try an hear any peeping or if I can feel them tapping on the shell... when I hear the peeping an feel the tapping I will go ahead and help them pip (since they are tapping on the egg to try to pip it anyways) and then go from there weather I can tell if they are ready to be completely hatched then I will go ahead and do it at that time or if I still see vessles then the twins will have to wait a couple more hours.. I hope this plan works...
