how do u tell the age of your chicks?

    I have two cochins i bought w/o feathers, a week later i got black sex links that had wing feathers and tail feathers started and today i got two brahmas with wing feathers. Now the sl have wing, tail, and feathers on the back; the cochins have wing and tail feathers........please help.

    I may not be of any help, I have had to guess. I got the first 4 from feed store but the owner said chicks was 6 weeks, but by 6 weeks they should have almost all feathers and mine did not so I had to go look at pictures of other chicks and tried to compare by how much feathering there is. Good luck, people on here give great advice I am sure someone will be able to help better than me.
