How do we manage to get into these situations? Collected another "Slightly Damaged Stray"...

Well, last word from the trainer was Gus wasn't a bit of problem. He said "You have an eye for a good horse. I would love to buy him from you." Of course selling him at this point isn't even an option. Gus is here to stay.

Terry and I discussed it after we sent him to training...although we never intended to keep him forever, it looks like here is where he was meant to be. Trainer said he'd be taking a video of his first ride of Gus, and also updated pictures of his feet. I'm impatiently waiting...

The trainer sent me pictures of Gus today...picking up his feet for him.

Willingly. Not even trying to bite him like he always did Terry.

For anyone who's been following this thread, you'll know that's BIG for Gus.

Foot care apparently happens tomorrow, with close up pictures.

The trainer called me last night. He said Gus isn't a single problem. He's being a great horse....even to the point where I questioned if Gus might be sick...(Sorry Gus)

Lily's pony however? Well, she bit the Alfred on the butt.
