I have 6 youngsters that I hope to move in with the big girls at the end of the month - they will be 15 weeks old then, and they have been free ranging with the big girls for several weeks now. But how do you actually get them to go INTO the new coop? At night everyone puts themselves away into their OWN coops. If I wait until then, it will be too dark for them to find the new roost, won't it?

I think you will need to move them after dark, you will need help and you will have to take them from their roost and put them in the new coop. they will never do it by themselves.
