How do you advertise cockerels and roosters?

I've had the best luck with Craigslist.

I list their breed, their age, and their source, being honest about potential crossbreeds, general quality, etc.

Some sell, others make excellent chicken and rice or chicken tacos.
Thats pretty much what we did! Except not on Craigslist, though that will be my next place. For the Blue Cochin Bantam in went something like this:

3 week old Blue Cochin Bantam cockerels.

For the chicks it was like:
Black Cochin Bantam chicks, hatched by broody, few days old. Up for discussion.

Definitely. These blue chicks will just sleep in your hand.
Advertise that!! Friendly cuddly roos! And include BLUE... thats a color people want to breed with for blue/splash.

**edit... include that blue can be bred to blue or splash for the same color offspring. When i rehomed my paint, i put in all the different breeding color outcomes. Got someone who had all the colors that would work with that roo. And he was friendly and she had kids! Extra plus. Explain why that particular one would be a plus.. not everyone knows.

Omg even better.. possible breeding pair. Lots of plusses to your chickies.
I got a good batch of chicks this time around. In adult chickens I have 5 Black Cochin Bantams and 1 BB Red OEGB. With these chicks (I hatched and bought them for the BB Red OEGB roo. He only has 1 hen, his other 2 died.) I hatched 5 Blue Cochin Bantams from my friends flock, I got 2 hens and 3 roos. Then I got 6 more chicks from TSC's assorted Bantam bin and got 3 Millie Fleurs (I think 2 hens and a roo that I will keep and breed), a silkie (I really dont know), a Golden Laced Sebright (Im thinking roo, no wattles or red comb but its pretty big. Only time will tell!) , and a Red Pyle OEGB (I'm thinking hen so far.)

I want to breed Cochin x MF and Cochin x Silkie and MF x Silkie.
