How do you break a broody hen?

Sorry for waiting so long to conclude, but after a few days of my method the hen rejoined her flock broody-free. She has yet to start laying again and now seems to be moulting. LOL

I have a broody americaunus, and currently have her in a rabbit hutch in my bedroom trying to break her as you most recommend.
Question is, do I let her out any during the two days and nights to go outside and scratch around and poo, or will she see the chicken coop and obsess over wanting to go back in ? Last night she wanted in so badly, that she flew to the top of the coop, 7 ft up and I had a hard time getting her down. I live in a neighorborhood and it would have been terrible if she would have gotten out of my 6ft privacy fencd yard ...
