I have read on hear that a specific call for the turkeys is helpful. A while ago there was a hilarious thread of how people call their chickens. So...what do your turkeys come running to?

Literally I go, "Beep, beep, beep, beeep...." in the same tone they yelp. I really need to get a turkey slate or diaphram call.

"Come here big boy" - and he runs to me every time. He won't come running when I call the "girls" (chickens) though - he oddly enough can seem to tell the difference between "big boy" and "Girls!!!" so can the girls - the roosters however are another story

Do they call "Come here big boy" on your cell because you're never home?

I make an "arrk arrk arrk" noise, similar to the slate call. But they're usually running my way before I say anything.
